Code of Conduct Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026
International English Group (IEG) is committed to fostering a professional, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for all participants engaging in IEG instructional services, including individual sessions, complimentary consultations, and group experiences.
Scope

This policy applies to all individuals participating in IEG services, whether delivered individually or in a group setting, and regardless of the participant's geographic location.

Expected Conduct

Participants are expected to:
• Treat instructors and fellow participants with courtesy and respect.
• Contribute to a supportive and productive learning environment.
• Communicate professionally in written and verbal interactions.
• Respect differing perspectives, backgrounds, and language abilities.
• Follow instructions provided by the instructor during sessions.

Unacceptable Conduct

The following behaviors are not permitted:
• Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or discrimination.
• Disruptive behavior that interferes with instruction.
• Use of offensive, threatening, or abusive language.
• Sharing inappropriate or explicit content during sessions.
• Recording sessions without the express permission of all participants and IEG.
• Impersonation or misrepresentation of identity.
• Repeated disregard for established policies and instructor directives.

Group Experiences

Participants in group sessions are expected to respect the privacy and contributions of others. Personal information shared during instructional activities should not be disclosed outside the group setting without permission.

Virtual Learning Environment

Participants are encouraged to join sessions on time, minimize distractions, and engage in a manner that supports effective learning. IEG reserves the right to mute participants, remove disruptive individuals from a session, or limit future participation when necessary.

Consequences

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in:
• A verbal or written reminder regarding expectations;
• Removal from a group session;
• Suspension of booking privileges; and/or
• Termination of participation in IEG services.

Refund eligibility following removal from services will be governed by the applicable Refund Policy.
