Refund Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Purpose
This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for instructional services purchased through International English Group (IEG).
Discovery Conversations
Complimentary Discovery Conversations are provided at no charge and are not eligible for refunds.
Individual Instructional Plans
Monthly instructional plans are billed in advance. Payments secure access to instructional time and scheduling availability.
Unused Sessions
Unused sessions generally expire at the end of each monthly billing cycle. As a courtesy, clients may carry forward up to one unused session into the immediately following billing cycle. Additional unused sessions are forfeited and are not eligible for refund.
Voluntary Cancellation by Client
Clients may cancel a recurring plan at any time to prevent future charges. Cancellation does not entitle the client to a refund for the current billing cycle.
Refunds for Unused Time
IEG does not provide refunds for missed sessions, late cancellations, no-shows, scheduling conflicts, or unused instructional time.
IEG-Initiated Cancellation
If IEG is unable to deliver a prepaid instructional session and a mutually acceptable rescheduling arrangement cannot be reached, IEG may issue a prorated credit or refund at its discretion.
Group Programs
Refund terms for group experiences may vary by program and will be communicated at the time of enrollment. Unless otherwise stated, fees for completed or partially completed group programs are non-refundable.
Exceptional Circumstances
Requests for exceptions due to serious illness, family emergencies, or other extraordinary circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Approval of such requests is at the sole discretion of IEG.
Chargebacks
Clients are encouraged to contact IEG directly to resolve billing concerns before initiating a chargeback with their financial institution.
Policy Changes
IEG reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy. Any revisions will apply prospectively and will be reflected by an updated effective date.
