Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the International English Group (IEG) website and participation in IEG instructional services.
Services
IEG provides online English instruction, including individual instruction, group instruction, test preparation, project support, and related educational services.
Discovery Conversations
Discovery Conversations are complimentary introductory meetings intended to determine fit and discuss goals. Participation does not obligate either party to enter into an instructional relationship.
Enrollment and Payment
Instructional services are purchased through IEG's website. Payment is due in advance according to the selected plan or service arrangement.
Scheduling and Cancellation
Clients may reschedule sessions with at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, including no-shows, may be forfeited.
Session Rollover Policy
Unused sessions expire at the end of each monthly billing cycle. As a courtesy, clients may carry forward up to one unused session into the immediately following billing cycle. Additional unused sessions are forfeited. Courtesy rollover sessions cannot accumulate beyond one cycle and have no cash value.
Group Instruction
IEG reserves the right to establish participation expectations for group offerings. Participants may be removed from group programs for conduct that materially disrupts the learning environment.
Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by IEG's separate Refund Policy. Except as provided therein, instructional fees are non-refundable.
Technology
Clients are responsible for maintaining access to the internet and appropriate technology necessary to participate in online sessions.
Intellectual Property
IEG instructional materials remain the intellectual property of IEG unless otherwise stated and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.
Educational Disclaimer
IEG provides educational services and does not provide legal, financial, immigration, mental health, or medical advice.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, IEG shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from participation in its services.
Termination
IEG reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for non-payment, repeated no-shows, abusive conduct, or other material violations of these Terms.
Privacy
The collection and use of personal information is governed by IEG's Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
